I trying to find out if the ALGANT students from Padova are well informed about the Welcoming that is going to take place on 7th August. Does anyone know if the ALGANT local coordinator has already told the students about this event? If not, I could write something about it on the group we have on Facebook with all the math students.

To my opinion, it is a very important and useful event for the students and it would be a pity if they don’t partecipate because they aren’t informed.

More precisely, in which ways look for it, which part of the city you recommend (or not recommend), the average price to expect, etc.

I have already contacted the local University Welcome Center; however, if any of you has some informal and friendly advice, I would be very glad to hear!

If they are still in the academic studies, we should include a short description of their research interests and their website (if there is one). If they are working outside the academia, a short description of their current employment. It would be nice to include also alumni outside the academia, so that future ALGANT students have the possibility to see the different paths that one can take after graduating.
