The first conference organized by the association was the 2019 AAN Symposium; it was held among the Spanish Pyrenees at the “Centro de Ciencias Pedro Pascual” in Benasque from the 23rd to the 25th of May 2019.
The three days long event was attended by more than 40 participants. The scientific program included two lectures given by Pilar Bayer and Bas Edixhoven, plenary talks given by Menny Akka, Ziyang Gao, Sourav Ghosh, Ariyan Javanpeykar and Daniele Turchetti, several expositions given by the ALGANT alumni, an outreach moment and a very enjoyable session of speed talks.
The conference ended with an excursion in the beautiful natural surroundings of Benasque and a delicious social dinner.
